The processes of formation and distribution of the resources of fresh groundwater and surface water in the territory of Crimea Peninsula are considered. Water availability in the natural–historic and administrative regions of the republic is characterized. The proportions between different categories of groundwater resources are shown with their role in water supply to Crimea taken into account. A technique for studying near-shore currents is assessed that is alternative to the traditional methods. The technique is based on the measurements of anomalous electromagnetic fields induced on land in the near-shore zone. The method of coastal electromagnetic monitoring was tested in the central part of the Zimnii Coast of the Gorlo of the White Sea. The results of numerical modeling of electric fields induced by tidal currents allowed us to obtain theoretical estimates of the expected signal and to choose the site of the measurements and the optimal parameters of the receiving lines applied. The experimental studies were performed on the Zimnii Coast of the Gorlo of the White Sea using two horizontal receiving lines, one of which was located on the coast and the other ran in the sea. These studies provided experimental estimates of the electric field of the tides in the Gorlo of the White Sea, which agreed with the theoretical evaluations. The results of the studies proved the efficiency of the method of coastal electromagnetic monitoring, which may be used in order to study tidal, offset-onset (surge), and quasi-stationary currents. An important advantage of the electromagnetic methods lies in the possibility to perform the studies throughout the year, including the winter period. 相似文献

The design and application of a lander (an apparatus developed at the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IO RAN) to study the chemical processes in the near-bottom layer) are described. The methodological foundations and design peculiarities of the lander were developed in the course of chamber experiments carried out at shallow depths with the assistance of divers. The impact of a supernova explosion on the magnetosphere of a neutron star in a massive binary system is considered. The supernova shock impact on a plasma-filled neutron star magnetosphere can give rise to a long magnetospheric tail with a considerable store of magnetic energy. Magnetic reconnection in the formed current sheet can transform the magnetic energy stored in the tail into the kinetic energy of charged particles. The plasma instabilities excited by beams of accelerated relativistic particles can lead to the formation of a short pulse of coherent radio emission with parameters similar to those measured for the bright extragalactic millisecond radio burst detected in 2007. 相似文献

We have used observations of the galaxy IC10 at the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory with the SCORPIO
focal reducer in the Fabry-Perot interferometer mode and with the MPFS spectrograph to study the structure and kinematics
of ionized gas in the central region of current intense star formation. Archive VLA 21-cm observations are used to analyze
the structure and kinematics of neutral gas in this region. High-velocity wings of the Hα and [SII] emission lines were revealed in the inner cavity of the nebula HL 111 and in other parts of the complex of violent

Iron-rich pyrrhotites proved to be metastable and to decompose at 70–140° C to troilite and pyrrhotite with less iron content as shown by nuclear gamma-resonance (Mössbauer) studies at high temperatures. Coherence of decomposition product lattices was established by studying powder samples textured in a magnetic field. Detailed X-ray powder diffraction and Mössbauer investigations revealed two different mechanisms of transformation in metastable associations. Kinetic phenomena are discussed in terms of a thermodynamic model of two-phase assemblage. 相似文献
